So he still may not be visible to the rest of the world, but today Rick and I got a sneak preview into our son's life. It's a huge relief to finally know for certain that it's a boy (as I had thought all along, based on nothing else but a "feeling") and everything is in its place. Amazingly enough, we were able to see his beating heart with all four chambers and the slight movements caused by his hiccuping. Pretty incredible.
We also found out that Asher's not as far along as we had thought, so our due date is postponed by 8 days to June 11th. I told Rick that it feels like I just got bumped down a grade, but I should also remind myself that one extra week of waiting is worth it.
Unfortunately there's no more pictures or exciting updates until we actually get to meet him face to face, with the exception of a growing belly of course. Much love to all - Rick, Faye and Asher.

yay!
Exciting!
It will seem like forever until that little man comes out - but it is the most wonderful experience to be a parent. We're praying for you all! M & N
When we had our ultrasound we were bumped back 12 days...almost 2 whole weeks!! I had a feeling it would be that way thought just because of when I thought I got pregnant...but you know that first appt. when they calculate...How exciting!! You look beautiful! I haven't had any "feelings" of the gender of our little one. Others have came up to me and told me what they think we are having...all I know is we have a baby who moves and moves and moves and moves:) I love feeling it! It is one of the those feelings only a pregnant woman can understand :) Hope all is well!! <3 Katy
